2012 MTBA SEASON!
2012 registration is now open. Click the Sign Me Up!!! link on the left. Take advantage of the "EARLY REGISTRATION" discount by getting registered and paid before May 16th. Cost will remain at $205 for 2012 (Early Registration discount applied). Regular Fee of $230 will apply after the early registration deadline. New player tryouts are being scheduled. Blue Jays win the 2011 MTBA Championship after defeating the Barracudas in the best of 3 Final Series. Congratulations to all teams making the playoffs, and a great season for all participants in the 2011 MTBA league. Thanks to all players, managers, umpires & board members for making the 2011 season, a year of GROWTH! Hope to see all teams back in 2012...
Note from MSBL Headquarters
I had a discussing with MSBL President Steve Sigler late last week, and he said 2012 will be the last season he allows "Hot Bats" in ALL MSBL Leagues. He's given a 1 year grace period, then all leagues must play with wood or BBCOR bats in 2013.
Just wanted to give everyone a heads up for next year, as the league will be playing more "Wood" games in 2012 to ease the transition for 2013, and for players not to spend a ton of money on a new bat that will only be good for 1 year... TEAM ROSTERS "FROZEN" EFFECTIVE SEPT. 8TH
Due to playoff implications & number of games played, to qualify a player to participate in the playoffs, all team rosters will be frozen effective September 8th, 2011. Roster moves must be completed by this date, and ANY new players must be approved by the MTBA Board, no exceptions.

Home teams will be on the 3rd base dugout & Visitors on the 1st base dugout.
No grabbing dugout of choice, if your team gets there early...

If you have questions, please email info@metrotulsabaseball.org Any one interested that turns 21 by the end of the calendar year (no maximum age restriction) can contact the league for tryout information or form a team of their own. There are a broad range of ages playing (20's through 60's), so you don't really have an "age excuse" to prevent you from playing!. We are affiliated with MSBL/MABL National and are an approved league. Part of your league fee registers you for national membership which includes Hardball Magazine subscriptions, post season play, etc. Check out their site HERE.
